Our story

A love for the land became a way of life.

A family story shaped by pasture, transhumance and hospitality in the heart of Basilicata.

Since 1870

A tradition rooted in the pastures of Monte Raparo.

The family describes a tradition that began in 1870 and has passed through three generations. Giovanni Palazzo preserved this pastoral knowledge and shared it with his son Salvatore and the wider family.

2014 — 2016

From the farm to the table.

In 2014, the family began a project to share that passion through a farm restaurant, grill and butcher shop. It became a reality at the beginning of summer 2016 in Sant’Arcangelo.

Pastoral culture

Transhumance: the journey between pastures.

In summer, the livestock moves to the high pastures of Monte Raparo; in winter, it returns to the flatter land around Sant’Arcangelo and the River Agri. It is a seasonal journey connecting family, animals and landscape.
